Nigerian Army have taken over some parts of Oyigbo Local Government
Area, especially around Timber Junction where there was a clash between
soldiers and some members of the Indigenous People of Biafra on Tuesday.
The security operatives, who were mainly policemen, also embarked on stop-and-search in order to forestall a repeat of the crisis.
Calm has, however, returned to the area after the clash that lasted for about an hour on Tuesday.
